The book is a large format (6" x 9") laminated softcover book on glossy paper with full colour photographs used throughout the book's 580 pages.  It will have particular appeal to Canadians interested in the world’s first major and most successful Peacekeeping effort: to military buffs interested in Canaidan military history, the military history of UNEF, the run-up to the Six Day War in the Sinai and Gaza Strip: to medical people interested in the challenges of maintaining a fighting fit force in a difficult medical environment: and finally to anyone interested in travel to exotic parts of the world ie Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Cypress, the Sinai and the Gaza Strip.
